We obtained a spectrum of ASASSN-16bm/AT 2016adl (ATel #8652) on 2016 February 9.8 UT with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the LCOGT 2-meter telescope in Siding Spring, Australia. The spectrum displays broad H-alpha emission. Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 119) we find a good spectral fit to the Type II SN 1999em at +4 days. A narrow H-alpha emission line from the underlying host galaxy corresponds to a redshift of z=0.007, which is the same as that of the neighboring galaxy GALEXASC J115153.52-132447.1 (HIPASS Catalog 2006 via NED). The spectrum is available on the Transient Name Server.
