Following the announcement of a Gamma-ray flare of the blazar S5 2007+77 (ATel #8635) by S. Cutini we observed the source with the 30cm telescope of the Foligno Observatory on 2016-02-05.77 UT. The blazar was detected at V=15.93+-0.05: three observations at 18 minutes intervals showed an appreciable decreasing trend of about 0.045 mag/hour. This value is similar to the typical value for intranight variability found by Montagni et al. (2006, A&A 451, 435) in the case of the highly variable blazar S5 0716+71.
