We obtained optical spectra (range 350-760 nm) of ASASSN-16ar (ATel #8565), ASASSN-16av (ATel #8569), and ASASSN-16ax (ATel #8594) on UT 2016 Feb 4 with the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope (+ FAST). Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows that all three events are Type Ia SNe. ASASSN-16av and ASASSN-16ar (both showing strong host-galaxy contamination) are a couple weeks after maximum, and ASASSN-16ax is at maximum and has a SNID measured redshift of z=0.0187 +/- 0.0056.
