We obtained a spectrum of ASASSN-16at/AT 2016X (ATel #8566) on 2016 January 20.75 UT with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the LCOGT 2-meter telescope in Siding Spring, Australia. The spectrum shows a featureless blue continuum consistent with a young supernova (though specific typing is not possible at this time). The spectrum is available on the Transient Name Server.
