As reported in ATels #8223, #8266, #8271, quasar S5 0836+710 (4C 71.07) is in enhanced state of activity. We perform optical and near-infrared monitoring of this object using 40-cm LX-200 (optical, St.Petersburg, Russia), 70-cm AZT-8 (optical, Crimea) and 1.1-m AZT-24 (near-infrared, Campo Imperatore, Italy), as a part of WEBT/GASP project. We report that S5 0836+710 demonstrates enhanced activity during last several weeks both in optical (see R band light curve) and in near-infrared bands (J band light curve). We notice that in NIR its brightness decreased from J=15.20 (2015 Nov.09, TJD 57336.6179 ) to J=15.51 (Nov.10, TJD 57337.4675 ), thus demonstrating fast inter-night variations.
