We made g-band observations towards a region of the X-ray transient source XRF 150826A / MAXI J1501-026 reported by Nakahira et al. 2015 (ATel #7954) from 11:06 to 11:40 on Aug. 27, 2015 UT with Kiso Wide Field Camera (KWFC, 2.2 deg x 2.2 deg, Sako et al. 2012, SPIE, 8446, 6) on the 105-cm Kiso Schmidt telescope. The KWFC pointings were centered on the calculated centroid position in ATel #7954, (RA, Dec) = (225.368, -2.603) in J2000. Six 180-sec exposures were obtained in total. We applied an image subtraction method for the data with a reference image from the SDSS database. The limiting magnitudes of our data are roughly 18.6 mag. No new transient objects are found within the field.
