We obtained optical spectra (range 360-980 nm) of ASASSN-15ih (ATel #7483) and ASASSN-15ik (ATel #7491) on UT 2015 May 12.0 with IMACS mounted on the Magellan Baade 6.5-m telescope at LCO. ASASSN-15ih shows features characteristic of a normal Type Ia SN around maximum light. After correcting the spectrum of ASASSN-15ih for the redshift of its host galaxy (z=0.019827) we measure a Si II 635.5nm expansion velocity of -12800 km/s. The spectrum of ASASSN-15ik has a blue continuum with Balmer lines in emission at redshift z=0.0348. The emission lines can be well-fit with the sum of a narrow (unresolved) Gaussian and a broader lorenzian profile (FWHM = 1900 km/s). ASASSN-15ik is a Type IIn SN, consistent with the classification in ATel #7497.
