MASTER OT J123253.56-511846.1 - Fading star, Anti-Nova transient
MASTER-SAAO auto-detection system ( Lipunov et al., Advances in Astronomy, MASTER Global Robotic Net, 2010 ) discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 12h 32m 53.56s -51d 18m 46.1s on 2015-04-08.980UT.
There are 6 images with this OT in MASTER-SAAO database with m_OT=18.0m (the limit is 19.0m).
MASTER-SAAO preliminary photometry of this MASTER OT during 2015 is the following:
on 2015-03-15.027UT with m_OT=19.2, on 2015-02-10.032UT with m_OT=19.2, on 2015-01-03.026UT with m_OT=19.2
The discovery and reference images are available at:
http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/123253.56-511846.1.png
This OT is identical to 0386-0308677 USNO-B1 star with B2=15.90 R2=15.71 I=16.88.
So MASTER OT J123253.56-511846.1 is likely a new cataclysmic variable of
VY Scl type (anti-nova) during the fading episode.
Follow up photometric and spectroscopic observations are required.
