MAXI/GSC monitoring data show that the X-ray flux of Cir X-1 has increased from 0.246+/-0.016 counts/sec/cm^2 on MJD 57107.5 to 1.579+/-0.034 counts/sec/cm^2 on MJD 57110.5 in the 2-20 keV band. This source has been at low X-ray level with the average flux in 2-20 keV of about 0.030+/-0.001 counts/sec/cm^2 for more than one year since the end of the previous outburst at the end of 2013, roughly in the period between MJD 56650 and MJD 57090. The current flux level is about 50 times larger. We encourage multi-wavelength observations to this source in outburst.
