We obtained an optical spectrum (range 350-760 nm) of ASASSN-15fi (ATel #7256) on UT Mar 21.46 with the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope (+ FAST). The spectrum is mostly dominated by strong nebular emission lines from the host galaxy, but it also shows a blue continuum and a broad H-alpha line with P-Cygni absorption through at -18000 km/s. ASASSN-15fi is a young Type II supernova.
