We report on recent NIR photometry of the high redshift QSO S4 0554+58 (z=0.904) also known as CGRaBS J0559+5804, associated with a Gamma ray source detected by AGILE, reported in Atel #7155. On JD 2457081.6601, we obtained NIR photometry for this object and found it with enhanced fluxes corresponding to H = 17.09 +/- 0.06 and on JD 2457096.6469, we detected this object at H = 17.052 +/- 0.03. At the time of the 2mass NIR survey there was not an object with H < 17.5 at the position of the source. Our observations are carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We strongly encourage further multiwavelength coverage.
