We report the spectroscopic observation of CSS150213:100134+453359 in SDSS J100134.51+453339.9. The observation was performed with the Asiago 1.82m Copernico Telescope (+AFOSC; range 340-820 nm; resolution 1.4 nm), equipped with the CCD Andor IKON L936.

Name | Date (UT) | z | Type | Phase |

CSS150213:100134+453359 | 20150220.05 | 0.076 | SN Ia | few days after max |

The spectrum is consistent with a type Ia supernova at a few days before the maximum light. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the comparison tool GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383) and SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), show that it matches with SN 2006gz (Hicken et al. 2007, ApJ, 669, 17) at t = 6 days after B maximum. From the position of the minimum of the Si II 635.5 nm feature, we infer a velocity of about 11000 km/s for the ejected material (we have used z=0.076 for the host galaxy, via NED).
