PESSTO, the Public ESO Spectroscopic Survey for Transient Objects (see Smartt et al., arXiv:1411.0299 http://www.pessto.org ), reports the classification of the optical MASTER OT J072940.10+141425.5 (Gress et al. Atel #7050) which was found in the GRB150210A error box (Burns et al. GCN 17432)

Observations were performed on the ESO New Technology Telescope at La Silla on 2015-02-10, using EFOSC2 and Grism 13 (3985-9315A, 18A resolution). Classifications were done with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) and GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383). Classification spectra will be available from http://www.pessto.org (via WISeREP) later today.

The transient is a normal type II SN, similar to SN2004et at +9d at a redshift of z=0.26, and a fairly normal absolute magnitude of M ~ -17.5. This is likely an unrelated, normal SN within the large (several degrees) error radius of the Fermi alert.
