The Nearby Supernova Factory reports the discovery and classification of three supernovae in images obtained using the QUEST II camera on the Palomar Oschin 48-inch telescope as a part of the JPL Near-Earth Asteroid Tracking component of the Palomar Consortium. Discovery image dates and approximate magnitudes (calibrated to R) are listed in the table below. Spectra (range 320-1000 nm) of these objects obtained Jan. 18 UT with the Supernova Integral Field Spectrograph on the University of Hawaii 2.2-meter telescope were used for classification.

All redshifts listed are derived from the peak of the observed H-alpha emission. SNF20060117-000 is hosted by 2MASX J13070825+2838003 (z = 0.03940; Wegner et al. 2003, AJ, 125, 2373 via NED). SNF20060117-002 is in an anonymous galaxy. The host galaxy of SNF20060118-000 is PGC 047137 (z = 0.01544; Rines et al. 2003, AJ, 126, 2152 via NED).
