MASTER OT J235333.47+101459.0 - large amplitude flaring red dwarf
MASTER-Kislovodsk auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 23h 53m 33.47s +10d 14m 59.0s on 2014-11-25.72481 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 16.3m (limit 19.8m). The OT is seen in 3 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2014-11-25.67499 UT (1.2 hr earlier) with unfiltered magnitude limit 20.2m. The object has reached maximum on the second of three images (180-sec exposures): 17:22:16 UT, 17.84m; 17:23:44 UT, 16.28m; 17:25:15 UT, 16.49m.
The OT at quiescence is identical to the red star SDSS J235333.45+101458.9 (g=25.65 r=24.79 i=21.58) = AllWISE J235333.47+101458.4 (W1=16.63 W2=16.69). The object is not present in USNO-B, 2MASS, GCVS and AAVSO VSX.
Based on the red color and short flare duration, MASTER OT J235333.47+101459.0 is a new variable of UV Ceti type (flaring red dwarf). The flare amplitude in white light is about 7 magnitudes. Follow up observations are required. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/235333.47101459.0.png
