We observed the broad-lined Type Ic SN 2005hz with the Very Large Array on Dec 6.1 UT at 8.46 GHz. No radio source is detected at the optical position. We place an upper limit of 0.1 mJy which implies a radio luminosity 100 times fainter than SN 1998bw on a comparable timescale.
