We report an optical spectrogram that was obtained on 2014 Oct. 17.52 UT with the 2.4-m telescope (+YFOSC) at LiJiang Gaomeigu Station of Yunnan Observatories. The spectrum shows that PSN J22394901+3812500 is a type II-P supernova around the maximum light. Adopting an recession velocity of 4597 km/s for the host galaxy UGC 12137, an expansion velocity of about 5700 km/s can be inferred from the Ha absorption minimum.
