We report optical spectroscopy and classification of DES14S2boa, discovered by the Dark Energy Survey (ATel #4668). The spectrum (490-940 nm) was obtained using OSIRIS on the Gran Telescopio CANARIAS (GTC) as part of proposal GTC70/14B (PI F. Castander). Classification was performed using SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), and identifies DES14S2boa as a Type Ia supernova approximately at peak.
