We obtained a spectrum of the recent eruption candidate of M31N 2008-12a (ATel#6527)
with the Andalucia Faint Object Spectrograph and Camera mounted on the
Nordic Optical Telescope on Oct 4.11 UT. Similar to the spectrum taken during
the last eruption, this spectrum shows a weak continuum superposed by strong
emission lines, including Balmer series, He I 4472, 5015, 5876, 6678 and 7065,
N III 4640 and NII 5679. Halpha has a FWHM of about 2,200 km/s. This spectrum
confirms that this optical transient is another nova eruption of M31N 2008-12a.
