MASTER OT J184612.90+125228.7 - new CV candidate
MASTER-Kislovodsk auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 18h 46m 12.90s +12d 52m 28.7s on 2014-09-21.73359 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 17.4m (limit 19.1m). The OT is seen in 8 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2012-05-21.95287 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 18.0m.
Object is not present in any catalogs and AAVSO VSX. This area of sky in Hercules is not covered by SDSS and Catalina Sky Survey. There is nothing at this position on the digitized Palomar plates and on their combination to the limiting magnitude ~21.5. Color-combined DSS finder chart (sum of 2 blue, 2 red and 2 infrared plates) is uploaded to http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/J184612+125228-BRIR5x5.jpg (2x zoom).
Based on the outburst amplitude (at least 4m), MASTER OT J184612.90+125228.7 is likely a new cataclysmic variable (dwarf nova). Follow up observations are required. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/184612.90125228.7.png
