We obtained a spectrum of PSN J23441603+1046125 on 2014 Sep. 2.46 (UT) with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the Faulkes Telescope North. The spectrum displays a blue continuum with hydrogen p-cygni features. Using GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383), we find a good match to an early spectrum of the Type IIP SN 1999em at the redshift of the host galaxy (z=0.005547), though it is too early to determine the precise subtype of PSN J23441603+1046125.
