The Carnegie Supernova Project reports the spectroscopic classification of LSQ14akx using an optical spectrum obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope (+Alfosc). The target was supplied by the La Silla-Quest survey (Hadjiyska et al., ATel #3812). Classification was done with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).
