We observed the SN 2014J in M82 with the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) in 1280 MHz band on 2014 Jan 23.78 UT. We do not detect the supernova. The 3-sigma flux limit at the supernova position (ATel 5789) is 2.1 mJy. More GMRT observations are planned.
