Millimeter/centimeter wavelength observations were obtained last night, UT 2014 Jan 23.3, of the young Type Ia SN 2014J in M82. Both CARMA and VLA yield deep non-detections. A 3 sigma upper limit of 1.2 mJy was measured at 85 GHz with CARMA, as part of the Key Project "A Millimeter View of the Transient Universe". Service observations with the VLA yielded a non-detection of -11.6 +/- 8.0 microJy at 5.5 GHz. These observations imply very low density surroundings around SN 2014J at radius ~10^15 cm.
