We report photometry of the supernova (Atel #5786) on 22.76 January 2014 in the J,H,K bands with the Mount Abu 1.2 meter telescope (+ PRL Near-Infrared Imager/Spectrograph). Using the standard star AS-20 (Hunt et al. 1998) for photometric calibration, and cross-confirming with three other field stars in the supernova field, we report near-IR magnitudes of J = 9.94 +/- 0.06, H = 9.83 +/-0.06 and K = 9.80 +/- 0.08. Spectra, at a resolution of 1000, in the 0.9 to 2.4 micron range have also been obtained and are under analysis.
