The bright LMC X-ray transient was discovered in 2009 and shown to exhibit a 27s pulse period (see ATels 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2023). Analysis of the OGLE IV I-band data reveal a strong modulation with a period of 27d, and a modulation profile that strongly suggests binary behaviour. Such a pulse-binary period combination would put the source comfortably in the Be/X-ray binary regime of the Corbet diagram and confirms the general nature of the suggested optical counterpart.
