Another NIR Flare of the quasar BZQJ2345-1555

We report on another NIR flare of the quasar BZQJ2345-1555 also known as CGRaBSJ2345-1555 (z=0.621), cross identified with the gamma ray source 1FGLJ2344.6-1554. On August 28,2013, epoch JD2456532.8954, we determined the flux in the Ks band to be 11.051+/- 0.09. This value is about 1.4 magnitudes brighter than the flux we determined on JD2456465.9575, when we found the object to be Ks = 12.398 +/- 0.09. Presently, the object is undergoing a NIR flare similar to the one previously observed for the epoch JD2455501 Observations were carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We strongly encourage further multi-wavelength coverage.
