We report that a spectrum of PSN J04213820-1755414 was obtained with
FLOYDS (range 320-1000nm) on Faulkes Telescope South on UT Sep. 2.69
2013. The spectrum reveals it to be a Type Ia supernova at
approximately 50 days after maximum light. The redshift of the
supernova is consistent with that of the host galaxy, ESO 550-G26
(z=0.0298). Classification was performed via supernova spectrum cross
correlation using SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).
