ASAS-SN confirmation of PNV J00444739+4122136 in M31

We report the ASAS-SN detection of PNV J00444739+4122136, the M31 nova candidate discovered by K. Nishiyama & F. Kabashima on UT Aug. 14.683. The transient was detected, and flagged as a transient candidate, in images obtained on UT Aug. 14.415 at V=16.8 mag. No source is detected on UT Aug 12.58 or in earlier images (V > 17 mag).
