We have observed the EXOr V1118 Ori in the near IR at Campo Imperatore (Italy) telescope, obtaining the following magnitudes:

MJD 53449.2501, magJ = 11.16;
MJD 53463.2504, magJ = 10.79;
MJD 53475.2691, magJ = 10.94;

MJD 53449.2517, magK = 9.79;
MJD 53463.2489, magK = 9.48;
MJD 53475.2708, magK = 9.53.

The values are calibrated using 2MASS catalog and errors are of the order of 0.01mag in both bands. In the near IR, the object does not appear in its declining phase after the unusual outburst recently observed in the V band (Williams & Heathcote IAUC # 8460 ). The observed colour [J-K] of about 1.35 mag is very similar to that of the FUOri objects (Molinari, Liseau & Lorenzetti, 1993). Other IR observations are encouraged and we will continue such monitoring program.
