We, the SMA Rapid Transient (SMART) Legacy Program, report millimeter observations with the Submillimeter Array, of type IIb supernova SN 2013ak (= PSN J08070669-2803101; ATEL #4874, #4943, #4944, #4945, #4946) in the nearby galaxy ESO 430-020. On 19 Mar 2013, we detect a millimeter source coincident with the optical position (CBET 3437). We report a flux of 2.3 mJy at 270 GHz, from a map with 0.6 mJy rms.

We thank the SMA staff for their support in carrying out these observations.
