Further to Denisenko et al. (2013, ATel#4784), we investigated the archival Catalina
lightcurve
of TYC 2505-672-1 (MASTER OT J095310.04+335352.8). The source was detected
in 308 observations taken with the Catalina Schmidt telescope between 2004-11-10 and
2013-01-21 UT. Although the source is clearly saturated within the images from 2004 to 2011,
the observations suggest that there was little prior variability (< 0.3 mag), and that no
similar fading events occurred in this period. The lightcurve features appear consistent with those
of R Cor Bor variables, as noted by Densienko et al. (2013).
