MASTER-ICATE very wide field camera (72-mm f/1.2 lens + 11 Mpx CCD)
located at Observatorio Astronomico Felix Aguilar (OAFA) near San Juan,
Argentina, has observed the position of
possible Nova OGLE-2012-NOVA-002 reported by L. Wyrzykowski et al.
(ATel #4483) several times before 2012 May 20 and then again after
2012 July 03. MASTER-WFC is continuously imaging the areas of sky
(24x16 sq. deg. field of view) with 5-sec unfiltered exposures. We do
not detect the Nova on the combined images obtained on 2012-05-20 at
23:32:03, 23:37:48 and 23:43:33 UT to the limiting magnitude of 13.1m.
The object is visible on the combined images obtained on 2012-07-03 at
10:29:02 and 10:34:18 UT and later on. The magnitude (unfiltered with
Tycho V zero point) on 2012-07-03 images is 12.8+-0.5, in agreement
with OGLE light curve from ATel #4483.
