As part of a monitoring program of potential Gamma Ray sources detected by Fermi LAT. We have observed a NIR brightening of the radio source hb891611+343 cross identified with CGRaBSJ1613+3412 a high redshift QSO (z=1.397). From observations on June 16th 2012, epoch JD2456094.9166 and earlier on epoch JD2455701.9769, we determine the flux in the H band to be 14.883 +/- 0.02 and 15.961 +/- 0.08 respectively. It is then, rising in the NIR. An increase in flux of 1.1mag in about 400 days is reported here. Observations were carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We encourage further multi wavelength coverage.
