A Swift ToO observation was requested and performed on 12 Feb. 2012 upon the optical transient PSN J05001372-0320512, a likely young SN Ib/c (ATel #3922). Preliminary analysis of the Swift/UVOT data (i.e., background contamination not accurately removed) reveals

A total exposure of 3940.7s was done by Swift/XRT during the same period. No emission was detected at the source position to a 3\sigma limit of 6.14x10^-03 cts/s, roughly corresponding to 3x10^-13 erg/cm^2/s.
