The INTEGRAL satellite has resumed Galactic Plane Scanning observations
(PI: A. Bazzano) since November 27^th , 2011. Results are made publicly
available at: http://gpsiasf.iasf-roma.inaf.it/
The transient ROSAT source 1RXS J194211.9+255552 is detected by
INTEGRAL/JEM-X during the Galactic Plane Scan observations performed
between 2011 December 18, 13:47 (UTC) and December 19, 8:59 (UTC). The
source was inside the field of view of the JEM-X detector during two
pointings between UTC 15 and 15:42 on December 18, and between UTC 7:28
and 8:12 on December 19, for an amount of 5.3 ks effective exposure
leading to a detection significance of eight sigmas.
The averaged fluxes extracted from the combined JEM-X1 and JEM-X2
mosaics are 10 +/-2 mCrab and 16 +/-5 mCrab, between 3-10 keV and 10-25
keV, respectively. The source is not detected by the IBIS/ISGRI
instrument, and we derive a 3-sigma flux upper limit of six mCrab in the 18-40
keV energy range.
A Swift ToO follow-up has been approved and the data analysis will
soon be performed.
