In our attempt to obtain a spectrum of
the faint M31 nova candidate
PNV J00452885+4154094 (reported in ATel #3727)
the wrong object was inadvertently placed on the
spectrograph slit. A close comparison of the finding
chart of Barsukova et al. (ATel #3725) with the HET
acquisition image suggests that the spectrum attributed to
PNV J00452885+4154094 is likely that of a faint nearby
star located approximately 7" north of the
nominal position of the nova candidate
(which is not visible in the HET acquisition image).
I apologize for any confusion this mistake has caused.
