Now the beginning of the 1.35-cm water-vapour maser line FLARE can be observed in the source Orion KL. It is the third flare of this maser radio line in Orion from 1984. The second flare was in 1998 (Astronomy Letters, v.26, p.34, 2000) and the present-day flare is taking place in thirteen years after it. The flux density of the component with V lsr = 7.8 km/s increased from 4000 Jy (August 2010) to 140000 Jy (Febr,06,2011). The observations are making with RT-22 in PRAO ASC LPI, Pushchino, Russia.
The intensities of both previous flares in Orion achieved almost seven millions Jy and I suppose that the intensity of the third flare will have a similar value in the near future. May be in this summer.
VLBI observations of the source Orion KL are highly desirable in order to research the fine features of the source structure. The last flares demonstrated very interesting features: rings, jets, bullets.
