We observed the broad-lined Type Ic supernova PTF10aavz (ATEL #3095) with the Expanded Very Large Array beginning at 2011 Jan 5.51 UT. We do not detect a radio counterpart at 4.9 GHz and place an upper limit of 31 microJy. At a redshift of z=0.062 this limit corresponds to a spectral luminosity of L_nu < 2.6e+27 erg/s/Hz, a factor of 10 below the early emission observed from relativistic SNe 1998bw and 2009bb (Kulkarni et al. 1998; Soderberg et al. 2010). Further observations are planned.
