We report the discovery of several flaring radio sources and blazars by the Catalina Real-time Transient Survey (CRTS) during the period from 2010-09-15 to 2010-10-15 UT. All these were announced in real-time on the CRTS website.
The redshift for CSS100915:022634+093844 is based on FeII and MgII lines from a Keck spectrum dated 2010-10-04UT.
More information and finding charts can be found at http://voeventnet.caltech.edu/feeds/ATEL/CRTS/ All CRTS Blazar discoveries are available from http://crts.caltech.edu/ and http://www.skyalert.org/.
Follow-up is requested. A search for the corresponding gamma-ray flares in the Fermi GST data would be useful.
