INTEGRAL non-detection of enhanced Crab flux

The INTEGRAL observations of the Crab nebula, performed for calibration
purpose from 2010 September 12 at 10:32 to 2010 September 19 at 12:48,
partially covered the period in which AGILE detected an episode of
enhanced gamma-ray activity from a position consistent with that of the Crab
(ATel #2855).
In these observations no statistically significant increase in the Crab
flux was observed (we checked the ISGRI light curves extracted in the
20-40, 40-100, and 100-400 keV energy bands). A close inspection of the
ISGRI point spread function in the mosaicked image obtained from the
same observations did not evidence the presence of other hard X-ray
sources within 0.5 degrees from the position of the Crab.
The Swift/BAT Hard X-ray Transient Monitor (see ATel #904) does not show
any significant deviation from a constant flux during the time interval 2010,
September 18-22, in the 15-50 keV energy range.
