An increase of X-ray flux from the Galactic black hole candidate 4U1630-47 was detected by MAXI/GSC on 2009 December 29 (UT). The one-day averaged X-ray fluxes (1.5-20 keV) were about 9, 15, 21, and 38 mCrab for December 26,27,28, and 29 (UT) respectively.
The MAXI/GSC light curves can be found at http://maxi.riken.jp/top/index.php?cid=000000000001&disp_mode=source . Please note that the fluxes of 4U1630-47 shown on the light curve web page are contaminated by the Galactic ridge emission, which has been subtracted in the fluxes reported above.
The past outbursts show the flux reaches the maximum within several days
from the beginning of the outbursts. Follow-up observations with
multi-wavelength are encouraged.
