New Outburst of the Transient Be/X-ray Pulsar GRO J1008-57

Pulsations from the the transient accreting pulsar GRO J1008-57 are currently being detected in the NaI detectors of Fermi/GBM. The source was first detected November 19. The rms pulse flux, which is rising, averaged 10 mCrab in the 12-50 keV band in the interval November 22-24. The last reported outburst was in March 2009 (ATel #1995).
