An increase of X-ray flux of the Be/X-ray binary pulsar GRO J1008-57 was observed with MAXI/GSC on 2010 August 1 at 30+-4 mCrab (4-10 keV). This is consistent with the recurrent outburst from this source with a 248-day period since the last one in November 2009 (ATel #2313).
