As part of our monitoring of AM CVn type variable systems using the
Liverpool Telescope we have observed an outburst of KL Dra
(RA=19:24:38.28 Dec.=+59:41:46.7) on Sep. 17 2009. On Sep. 10
2009 we observed this system to be in a quiescent state with a brightness of
g=17.29 +/- 0.02. Our observation a week later showed the system to be 1.35+/-0.04 magnitudes brighter at g=18.64+/-0.05.
This is the second outburst of this system in just over 6 weeks. On Aug.
8 2009 the system was observed in outburst at a brightness of g=15.55+/-0.04.
We encourage further observations of this system at other wavelengths.
