We took a spectrum of SN2009dn (discovered by Yuan et al. ATel#2018) with the Double Beam Spectrograph on the Palomar Hale Telescope on May 20.329 UT. The data show a prominent, broad H-alpha feature in emission. The spectrum is similar to the Type II-L supernova 1979C at about 1 month past maximum (Branch et. al 1981, ApJ 244,780).
