We report a radio detection of the black hole X-ray binary 4U 1630-47 with the upgraded Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (uGMRT) on 2026 September 27.
The source was observed for approximately 1 hour in Band 4, with an on-source integration time of 17 minutes. We detect radio emission at a flux density of (6+-2) mJy. This measurement is consistent with the flux density reported in an earlier MeerKAT observation, suggesting that the source has remained at a broadly similar radio flux level.
Two additional uGMRT observations are scheduled for 2026 October 20 and 27 to monitor the radio evolution of the source. We encourage contemporaneous multiwavelength observations to investigate the evolving accretion and jet properties of 4U 1630-47.
