In ATel #17748 we announced the discovery of an apparent nova M31N 2026-04a. Unfortunately, the reported position of the nova was incorrect. The correct position of M31N 2026-04a is R.A. = 0h43m39s.52, Decl. = +41o16'13".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 622.3" east and 5.0" north of the center of M31, and thus the correct designation of the nova is PNV J00433952+4116135.
