WW Lyn - X-ray brightening

We report an increase in X-ray flux from the cataclysmic variable, WW Lyn,
RA=07:34:07.8; DEC=+38:10:40.1
In a slew from XMM-Newton of 31/03/2026 the flux from WW Lyn was observed to be
5.7±1.1 × 10-12 ergs/s/cm2 in the soft X-ray (0.2-2 keV) band
and 1.3±0.2 × 10-11 ergs/s/cm2 in the broad (0.2-12 keV) band.
The soft X-ray flux is ~20x higher than that which was observed previously in
ROSAT on 30/09/1990 and eROSITA on 15/04/2020.
We encourage further observations at other wavelengths.
