LFBOT ATeL#17646: DDOTI Optical Observations

We observed the field of the candidate LFBOT reported by Tsuboi, Nakaoka, & Kawabata (ATeL #17646) with the DDOTI/OAN wide-field imager at the Observatorio Astronomico Nacional on the Sierra of San Pedro Martir (http://ddoti.astroscu.unam.mx) on the night of 206-02-06 UTC.

DDOTI imaged the position from 03:29 to 04:21 UTC, obtaining a total exposure of 34 minutes.

Comparing our observations to the USNO-B1 and Pan-STARRS PS1 DR2 catalogues, we detect a new uncatalogued source with a preliminary AB magnitude of:

w = 16.72

This magnitude is consistent with the values reported by Gill et al. (ATeL #17647). Further observations and analysis are planned.
